A compact townhouse development exploring efficient residential planning on a narrow site in the coastal neighbourhood of Berawa.

Mandala Townhouses was an early residential collaboration between our studio and the creative team at The Mandala Group.

Located on a narrow urban site in Berawa, the project comprises four three-bedroom townhouses designed as a compact residential cluster. The architectural concept focused on creating efficient floor plans that maximise natural light, ventilation and spatial openness despite the constrained site conditions.

The architecture presents a strong, monolithic façade to the street, using deep recessed openings to provide privacy and shading while maintaining a sense of solidity and protection for the homes.

Our role focused on the architectural planning and design development of the townhouse scheme. Interior design and construction were led by the client’s in-house team.
