A wellness-focused villa concept exploring sustainable tropical living near Bali’s southern coast.

Dreamland Villas is a concept proposal for three wellness-focused villas designed for environmentally conscious travellers.

Located in the coastal landscape of Dreamland in South Bali, the project explores a contemporary tropical architecture that maintains a strong connection to both the surrounding natural environment and the wider landscape beyond.

The design emphasises indoor-outdoor living, with large openings that allow natural daylight and cross-ventilation to move freely through the buildings while framing views towards the surrounding terrain.

Material selections were informed by the rugged coastal character of the site. Lime-based render, locally sourced limestone cladding and recycled ironwood decking were proposed to create a natural palette that responds to the rocky landscape.

Sustainability strategies formed an integral part of the design concept. Rainwater harvesting systems and planted roof gardens were introduced to help restore vegetation lost to the building footprint, while also creating opportunities for solar panel integration.
