The design for this Berawa Villa is a collaboration project with two young design architects from the US. Throughout the process, we have worked closely together on all aspects of the design and development of the project. 

The 1500m2 site is located within a residential area of Canggu, Bali, and once complete will be operated as a high-end rental property and events space.

Due to the density of the surrounding buildings, we designed an inward-looking scheme with all the structures orientated around a central landscaped garden. The site is also located next to scenic rice fields the upper-level main building, pool, and guest terrace to look out across this spectacular view. 

Stand-out features include the contorting roof form of the main building and a 20m infinity pool on the first floor. Design Assembly proposed a light and beachy material palette using natural materials sourced here in Indonesia. We are also collaborating with Studio Nimmersatt on the lighting design and Bali Landscape Company on the landscape. This Berawa Villa project is being managed and constructed by Bali Home Builder.
